An excellent example of Eastlake style architecture with its ornate room trim, this house had no mention made by Mary Brinton Tubbs in her Center Street memoirs of the 1880s, therefore it is assumed that it was built in the 1890s. However, a house owned by a Patterson stood on the lot in 1874. W.A. Beer, a State Representative, lived here at the turn of the century. Current owners are Mr. and Mrs. Roger Primm.
